Reading this thread makes me grateful for the folks at Roseville.   I have probably placed an order with them about every month the past year - never a problem.

You can say that again, Roseville is my go to place, I ordered a 18 spline from brewers they made seem easy. I have had awesome service from companys like RMS/Bouchillion/Dr Diff/TTI and Summit as well. I don't get how these others stay in business.

Strange, I got a lot of good recommendations for Roseville here on the forum, so I wanted to support them, I was gonna buy a lot of parts, mailed them on an address I got here, but never got a response back. So back to Summit for me. Maybe the mail got lost or so, I don't know.

Same with Hotchkiss, no response to my first mail, mailed them again, they responded to that one, but very late, by that time I already placed an order with Firmfeel for all my suspension parts.

Here is my take;  There is NO EXCUSE for poor customer service........If you really take the opinion, "Its the busy season, they are out on the car show circuit," etc, if thats truly the case, its still, poor service, period.    When a vendor is out on the circuit/road, the are out there for two reasons only:  Sell and advertise, and will gladly talk and sell with a smile.  If customer service fails back at the shop when they are gone, its poor management = poor service, which still equals the customer suffers.     Frankly, IMHO, I get tired of all the poor and lackluster customer service when it comes.  I dont hold to excuses, or, "Things happen".........

Spring Carlisle I bought all stainless brakes lines, Hard, Flex, and E-brake from Inline Tube. Parts came in Hard lines are great, wrong Flex lines, wrong E-brake type. Same excuse you got, but they actually took care of it quickly. Within a couple of weeks, had everything back and right. With all the bad press I read about tranny companies selling these 5-Spd conversions its a wonder anyone buys them. Seems to be the same MO, poor customer service, wrong parts, or both. No wonder they keep going out of business.

If its anything like my credit card, they will not only have to refund the $$ but be charged a fee as well.  I bet they will be calling you soon.

Maybe I am getting old but my take on this is - if these companies are all busy why do they bother with the car show stuff unless they have a new product to launch ? Wouldn't they just stay home and get the orders out the door?

I always go to Dave at Roseville for anything OEM first.  I do know he has been on vacation since Carlisle so that may be the reason for the delay.

:2thumbs:   But heck we don't want a refund, just the correct parts. We like the product, should only take 5 minutes to issue an ra, ship correct parts. I have the wrong parts packed, ready to send back.
