    a nz i gotta stupid question!! one was your car imported  to nz orginal or did you buy it in the states and two do the car total numbers include the cars that were exported??

    It came to New Zealand in 1971 and I have spoken to the guy who imported it here about 1-1/2 years ago. He still knew the car!!  :o :D


    It's not an export car, was just exported for private reasons.  :thumbs:


    I'm still trying to find out if this was the first Challenger in New Zealand because 1971 is very old, and so close to the year it was made!!

    Sounds like it would be better for me to head out your way.  But there is no way in hell that I am going to ride on a fairy.  What if I am too heavy and he stops swimming in the middle of the water?  I'd be screwed!

    LOL!!!  :laughup: You think thats bad about 1-1/2 months ago the Ferry pilot ran over some poor bugger on his 7 meter boat. Killed him and his poor wife.  :eekbig: :-\ ;D But it's safe as and they're investigating that.

    Thanks Redline. I have kind of taken the same route as you guys but not to that extent.


    Upgrading parts where needs be etc. New front Disc brakes that could stop a run-away house moving truck, MP Electronic Ignition kit, Headers/Exhaust, Head unit and speakers, New IAS Shocks, Viscus fan package etc Little parts that all make a big difference.


    It will look stock and will be basically 85% an original car. My engine will look quite different but I'll let you guys see it rather than explain it..


    A surprise if you will.  ;) ;D :thumbs:


    Thanks once again, getting praise from someone who is building their own masterpiece is very rewarding.

    Thanks Plum she was sweet from the beginning but NOW shes a Challenger.  ;) 8)
