Damn, Roadkill Trip is the week after. I might have to do this instead, I always wanted to visit Holley and Comp cams. :

David Freiburger with Dodge Challenger and Dodge

Details on Roadkill Takes America! It's a FREE trip where you can watch us film an episode and see cool stuff. We don't dictate a route, or hotels, or anything. Do what you want. Follow us the whole time, or part of the time. Stick with us, get lost, whatever. And always remember to chill when plans change. This is Roadkill.
More info coming on specific times, but here's the most you've seen yet. Plan now!
AUG 15: See us at the Dodge display at Woodward Dream Cruise
AUG 16: Meet at the Royal Oak, Michigan, shop for Motor Trend and HOT ROD, drive to Bowling Green, Kentucky.
AUG 17: Watch Roadkill race the Blasphemi versus a Hellcat Challenger at Beech Bend raceway, then have lunch and shop tours at Holley, then drive to Memphis.
AUG 18: Meet at Comp Cams, get a shop tour, and drive to Tulsa.
AUG 19: Watch Roadkill race the Vette Kart versus a Challenger Hellcat at Hallet Motor Racing Circuit in Jennings, Oklahoma.
AUG 20: Activities to be announced in the vicinity of Tulsa, give or take a hundred miles. Drive to Ft. Worth, Texas.
AUG 21: Activities to be announced...but we have a party planned with room for 200 cars and it can't be missed! Mark your calendar.

Belinda can't even use the word Mopar anymore. It's called the 35th Annual Nationals this year.

WTF? Seriously? I have to see that to believe it ...

OMG! It's true!

What's up with that? Auburn Hills Michigan ... oh wait a minute ... I mean Turin Italy ... won't allow them to use the "Mopar" name anymore without trademark infringement, licensing fees or something? Is Sergio Marchionne sinking the Nats too? What a crock of Shi'ite!

I heard they weren't happy with how it was being run.  He didn't want to listen to what they were saying so he lost the rights to use the name. :dunno:

It has been this way for a few years.  It's not something new for this year.  It wasn't called the "Mopar" Nat's last year either.

I'm planning on going this year. Missed the last two. Problem is I waited too long to book a room! If the weather is good I'll bring my '70 Barracuda.  Fletch

I'm coming, all the way from England!

Flying over with my son on Thursday 6th and going home on the Monday. Looking forward to seeing seeing some nice Mopars and browsing the swap meet.
