New member with AAR barn find
« on: July 24, 2015 - 07:16:47 AM »

Hello all, new to this web site as I just purchased my very first e body.  I started working at a
dodge dealer in 1983 when I got out of high school.  I became friends with another tech there that had been a Chrysler mechanic since the 60s.  He told me about a AAR Cuda that he bought when he returned from Vietnam and drove for several years then parked it in his garage.  We maintained our friendship over the years and he always promised me that I would have first crack at the car when he finally decided to part with it.  Well he call me a couple of months ago and said that he was turning 70 in a couple of months and it was time.  This is one of those stories you always hear about and dismissed at urban myth but it really happened.  So I am now the proud owner of a one owner 1970 AAR that was bought new at Campbell Chrysler Plymouth in Venice Fl and spent its whole life here.  It is 100% bone stock (except one repaint) and I have the original window sticker and bill of sale.  I feel very fortunate to have acquired this treasure and look forward to tinkering with it.

Easiest solution to pictures is to use a free service like http://s1272.photobucket.com/ or https://www.flickr.com/
Once hosted all it takes its pasting a link & you can share on any other site as well

Outstanding. Are you keeping it white?
