I have paperwork (build sheet, original window sticker, personal letter from Chrysler, VIN specific braking distance card) from my dad's old T/A (pictured on my avatar) and would love to find the car. That was the car my brother came home from the hospital in. My dad sold it to some guy in Washington state in 1973 and the car ended up in the LA area as of 1986 according to a search done by a friend. Nowadays, its harder to locate owners but I suppose it could be done if you know the right people
. Anyhow, I contacted Barry Washington about 10 years ago and he was very informative and took down the VIN for the registry. I also listed the VIN on the website VINfind.com, but have not heard anything. No idea where the car is but would love to reunite with it. However, given the value of those cars today, it will probably never happen.
Just in case, VIN I'm looking for is JH23J0B305531. Photos are from around 1971-73.
On a more positive note, I had listed my current challenger on some site and the owner from the early 70's contacted me wondering about the status of the car. We traded information and he shared a few stories about its history.
