Dave ,

I like that idea,  im pretty sure i have a used set of the  17" yearone  rallyes lined up....

Hmmmm.   Wheel color and tail panel match... I think i like it   :

Yearone lets you buy the exact paint in quarts  so it would be 100% match ...

Now i have to  find a pic of a 72-74  with yearones  and a argent back...

thanks to all for the feedback...

What about a argent tail panel with satin black just in the tail light pods?  :dunno:  A compromise of the 2?

Never thought of that    ,  i might have to mock that up  to see if i like it  .. It might go well with the wheel color but brake up that large   silver tail  panel

Thanks brad

Thank You! I hope it helps. I just installed a set of YearOne Rallye wheels and OMG! They look great! They fit perfect, no rubbing etc. 17x9 rear and 17x8 front. Y-O did an outstanding job with their wheels. I'm sure you'll be happy with them. I took advantage of the free shipping offer, I'm not sure how much longer that will last...

Here is a pic of mine. Still original paint. Looks more grey than silver. I have repainted the satin black around my tail lights. Similar look as mentioned above. I have several pictures of how the factory edges were cut in if you are interested.

Also if you replace your jacking instruction sticker you could place it on upside down like mine. Lol

Agreed with the satin black.
I edited my above post to correct 2nd pic. And also added an after pic of the painted lens areas. If you look close the factory cut line was not even close to following the lines. My assumption is they painted the cups black and then placed a masking cup over lens pod area and then applied argent.

Glad to help.

My opinion FWIW If you were going with a light/bright color like a Yellow or Lime Green I'd say Black but Plum Crazy is dark so use the Textured Argent like the Rally Wheel centers.... But use Satin Black on  the Tail Light Bezels...  Also Detail the DODGE letters with Satin Black on the sides... Leave the top surface Brushed Chrome...

Is that the way they were from the factory?  Or just your preference?
Just wondering. Mine appear just a satin silver on the sides.
