Question on the paint. Did you use a laquer or a base coat clear? Just for when I end up doing mine.

Finally got my 3m trizact perfectit system , and cut and buffed her out.....

What a weird color to take pics of , the color in the pics comes out darker then real life , its pissing me off.. :swear:

I'm not sure if you decided about the rear panel but there is such a thing as Argent Black paint. It wont last as long as the Plum but it looks like textured satin black with metalflake sparkles.   I did a grille like that a while back and it turned out awesome.  It's easy to mask and repaint and you will need to do that every couple of years.

Yep i know about the argent thanks for the heads up .   since i spray my own I'm going to paint the taillight panel  2008 dodge  platinum silver metalic , and the light pods satin black . With The standard chrome tail moldings and the chrome dodge letters......   

If i hate it ...ill. textured argent over it...

Been busy hitin the car hard, got the tail panel painted  dodge platnum silver three peice trim on, rebuilt the entire front end with all moog , had steering box rebuilt . All new front brakes bearings seals.

Next:---- is rebuild rear, new fuel lines, steering colum rebuild ,american autowire harness brake lines body plugs , weatherstripping,  i got a nice pile of parts for the winter.
