I'm indifferent to spell check. I write for a living, and I've rarely needed it.
But then there's AutoCorrect, a feature on cell phones and tablets. AutoCorrect takes what you typed, ad tries to figure out what you meant. Sometimes this works for the best, and other times it creates a giant cluster. The latter usually happens when you're trying to input a word that's not in the machine's database. AutoCorrect has caused me more than a bit of embarrassment.
