Tried a temporary graphic on my 74. What ya think?
« on: July 28, 2015 - 05:14:26 PM »
Been thinking about some bold graphics when car get painted. Came across some peel able paint so I gave it a go for the visual. Car still has small permanent striping so this will be off pretty quick.
Old car new take on new graphics.

What do you all think?

Building a twin turbo setup for it...
IMOP I think slightly less bold on the letters.

 :iagree:

I like the hash stripes a lot.  It doesn't go with the fender louvers though.  I'm not sure about the TT either.  I think you could come up with something better then TT.  Maybe just have it say "turbo" or maybe just the hash stripes by themselves.  How about "intercooled"?

I like it. I think the letters being bold are fine, but I agree that TT doesn't do it. You could go with RT.

Thanks you all for your input.
I like them but there was something I could not put my finger on.
quote above is it. Don't like them together.

As for RT instead. I would rather not advertise something it is not.

Thanks again.

Exactly!  There are already too many 72-74's that have R/T stripes or emblems on them.  I think "INTERCOOLED" would look good.(I assume it's going to be intercooled.)  Have the stripe go down all the way to the body line.  Then "INTERCOOLED" could be right under the body line.  Have all the letters slanted just like the stripe.

I kind of see your point, but it's not a TT either

Close enough I can taste it. Will be if/when graphics hit.
Current state working on cold piping from intercoolers.
