I drive my 71 Challenger as much as I can, and whenever the weather is nice, it comes out of the garage. I felt the need to be able to stop as well or better than modern day cars as the highways around here are usually fairly heavily traveled, and I needed to be able to stop better than I was with my disc, drum setup. I decided to go disc, disc, and I met a professional mechanic who did these hydro-boost systems on all kinds of cars.. I have had it in my car now for almost a year and my car stops on a dime..A few other Challenger owners have driven it . I actually let people drive my car so that they can experience it (most late model challenger drivers have never driven the real thing) . Most say they can't believe the difference. When I did the braked, I also did the power steering box and now I can make a U-turn instead of having t do a three point turn. The handling is better, and I know I can stop when I need to. I have never seen another Challenger or Cuda with the system and I have looked at alot of cars. I go to Carlisle every year and have never seen one in anyone else's car. I am attaching a picture of my car and most importantly the hydro boost sytem if anyone is interested.
