Well, I've had the car 4 months now. ....pull the engine - right ?!!!!!

It's a 318 dated '74.
Plans are to leave the bottom end alone,  carb, intake,  cam, headers, full exhaust,  seals, gaskets and make her pretty.

A little more about the car.....in the 4 months I've had it. .....
New wheels and tires
New third member - 3:55 with Eaton sure grip
New brakes all 4 corners
New shocks (Bilstein) all 4 corners
New leaf springs

It has a 727 TF....seems pretty solid for now.

Down the road I plan on a 318 roller stroked to 390.
I'm a HUGE fan of the 318. ...every one will say 340 or 360.....nope.  Gonna be a 318/390 stroker.

Then I can tell the Camaro guys you just got smoked by a 318!

The car is awesome!!! It will be a little monster. Back then I didn't like A-Body Barracuda so much. But now I believe is very pretty...

Thank you!   I don't care for the fastback so much,  but I sure love the notch-backs!!!

I didn't like the fastback compared to the notch back for years.
Once I got a fastback, it really grew on me.  Very unique look.

Your ride looks really nice in that engine bay.  Clean.

I'm just the opposite, I owned 3 fastbacks for my first 3 cars and always thought the coupes looked funky.
Now they have grown on me but the 69 340 Formula S Fastback Barracuda is still my favorite A body.
Always keeping an eye out for a good project fastback. My son wants that to be his first car.
