Yet another Chrysler recall - Dodge Charger air bags

Geez, I wonder if Chrysler would be recalling the air bags in the Charger if they had not already been heavily fined a few weeks earlier . . makes a person wonder

I just got a card in the mail from FCA saying my '09 Challenger is going to be recalled for that.  Only a rough ETA of when parts will be available, so the card was more of a advanced notice than anything. 
My Challenger will be worthless in 25 years because it doesn't have its correct date coded airbag actuator!!  :'(

They are also being pushed into a buyback program for some models too.  That's going to cost Fiat a bundle.   :scared:

I tend to think it will not cost them a dime, they will recoup all costs in higher prices at the car lot. We are the consumer and we know, it does not matter who is selling, the consumer is the one who pays for "their" (seller/retailers) mistakes. :stomp:


They are also being pushed into a buyback program for some models too.  That's going to cost Fiat a bundle.   :scared:
