Where to find connector ?
« on: August 01, 2015 - 06:39:26 PM »
Hi
Where can I buy the connector sockets (correct term?? ) for the wire harness to ignition and turnsignal switches ?
I mean on the car side.
I have no wiring left in the car and would like to use the connectors on the switches and not cutting them if possible

might be hard to find but I have seen some later 70 model vans with a plug that may work like on some 78 maybe up to 85 as this one on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dodge-Truck-Van-1972-85-New-Turn-Signal-Switch-TS111-/361348876767?hash=item54221249df&vxp=mtr  shows one but I am not positive , you would need to find one for a comparison ,,this one is on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-71-72-73-74-NOS-MoPar-T-S-SWITCH-Cuda-Dart-Charger-Road-Runner-Challenger-/110293812740?hash=item19ae060604&vxp=mtr  but pricey . this one is for a dodge charger http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mopar-71-72-73-74-Charger-Turn-Signal-Switch-NEW-/400922137169?hash=item5d58d25251&vxp=mtr  but I am unsure about fit ,,
According to jegs Mopar Performance#312-04293102
Turn Signal Switch Assembly
1970-76 A-Body/B-Body/E-Body this will work http://www.jegs.com/i/Mopar+Performance/312/04293102/10002/-1?CAWELAID=1710733951&CAGPSPN=pla&catargetid=230006180000850347&cadevice=c&gclid=CISt34j4kscCFQeBaQodJnYIcg

I havent seen just the plug your looking for

Did find this one cheap for an a-body dart http://www.ebay.com/itm/Turn-Signal-Switch-without-Tilt-Column-for-73-79-Dodge-Plymouth-Chrysler-/231575326647?fits=Model%3ADart&hash=item35eaf70fb7&vxp=mtr

Ok
Easier to cut of the one on switch side and buy some weather proof connector or something like that
They are often small
Thanks

Was looking for the connectors at the car side of the wire harness but I guess it's easier to change both sides to an other type of connectors

I think I have an old harness, I will look and see. If I do I can send it to you or just cut the wires off and send the plug.
