I just received my mopar restoration battery� And has green caps - I thought they were supposed to be yellow

Well. did you specify red, yellow or green? Yellow cap batteries have been out of stock for a long while now. Maybe the reason you received a green cap.

I did specify yellow cap, as I read that on a forum...but he told me according to Galen verification sheets it was green. but I have a 73 340 car, which I found info to be yellow.

I think cap color indicated battery power, cca etc. The green and yullow cap batterys are both group size 24, different power rating. Red caps are group 27, most powerful for big block cars.
