i got lucky - my friend didnt
« on: August 06, 2015 - 07:14:17 PM »
I recently purchased a 1970 WSS  Dodge Challenger  plum crazy 340 car ,yes it needs alot of work ,but it's all there .just wondering how rare it is ???  JH23HoB     A66 FC7 N41 N42 V9X     i already know what the codes mean ,i can't afford a complete nut and bolt restoration but i plan on just getting it roadworthy first and slowly tackle one section at a time .     Any help is deeply appreciated

Sorry, I would have added more detail in my last post but I had to pick myself up off the floor.  You have the holy grail of A66 cars, IMHO.

Outstanding. I really hope that you've got the broadcast sheet as well. I usually don't care too much about the rarity of a car, but this is pretty cool.

question ....it has the N41 and N42 codes ...should it have the chrome exhaust tips poking through the rear valance ? this car doesn't but who knows if they were there originally   ?

Cool car,
Any idea where it was made ? ( ie california or hamtramack ? )
I have a A91 car, that was made in Hamtramack and shipped to california and sold new there.
Mine is a 318 car,
post some pics if you can,
good luck !!

You know, there's not many Chevys that I lust after-but, a 66 Deuce SS 327 350hp 4 spd IS one of them. Speaks to your priorities and that you've got them properly aligned. I wish you the enjoyment of it and we're all waiting with bated breath for those pics.
