I must be nuts...or addicted...
« on: August 08, 2015 - 04:09:09 PM »
I just drove a little over 4 hours round trip to get the proper cage nuts and bolts to mount my 22 inch rad and fan shroud.

total spend, 20 bucks.

I could have had the vendor mail them, but I wanted to make sure that I had them in hand so I can get the rad in and make Moparfest...next weekend!!!  Good think I like to drive.

Your not nuts.

I'm about to drive 130 miles round trip just to get a pick up coil.  No more reason than I want it now.

Jeezus, that's hauling some pretty serious a$$ to do 62 miles in 34 minute and must average out to over 100mph!! No cops out there Josh? Around here, in the People's Republic of Ontario, 30mph over the limit gets your car impounded for a week and an over $300 fine AND the insurance company will reward your enthusiasm upon renewal!  :swear:

That white bird is sweet!  You got the nice front end too.  Love the white wheels with the white paint.  Is it a special edition car?

My first bird was a 97.  Still have a soft spot for that model of car.

I'm haulin ars alright.  There are two turns that I have to drop below 100. 95 to be exact.  Squealin the tires with the TCS on.
I used to be able to do really good timed laps but right about the time the Obama administration got in suddenly there were State Patrolmen on the road all the time.
Usually when the traffic flow is heavy there are no cops.  When it slows down the cops come out.  I can do time laps in the A.M. usually.
Been chased a few times.  The trick to not loosing your license is Don't Get Caught.
34 minutes is timed with one witness.  37 minutes with two witness's.  With today's traffic I got a 43 minute run.  no cops. Adrenaline was crazy when I finally got home.

Check out the map.  There are three sections of very tight turns. With a river on one side, a wall on the other, and the occasional on coming car and rock in the road.  Oh and deer, elk, antelop, sheep, bear, etc. etc. etc.   makes for a very exciting ride.

Sorry for the ramble, I don't get to talk to many folks about my daily speed driving addiction/problem.   :burnout: :burnout: :burnout:

As long as you keep enough distance so they can't see your plates should be fine.

No worries man.

Great car by the way, I like those T/As.  I think yours has the better frond end!.

jimynick is right thought, we get screwed if we get caught pushing the speed to much.  About half of my drive was 2 lane road, so pretty limited in speed, but still a nice drive for me.
