Brake line install question
« on: August 09, 2015 - 05:26:11 AM »
To install the long brake line along the driver side of the car,,,,,do you,,,

Start from the front or back ? ( ie thread thru hold in frame )

Does the rear tire need to be off for easier install ?

Any other tips ?  Trying to avoid wrestling the line to install it,,,,,,

Thanks

I seem to remember poking the front end through the frame first but immediately moving to the part that wraps around the frame just forward of the rear wheel next as that is a critical bend that has no give.
My wheels were of & I think that would be necessary

Yes: It must be threaded through from the rear. It's pretty easy, you could probably do it with the wheel on but it's a lot easier with it off.

Thanks guys !!!

I just plumbed all the fuel lines ( up the passenger side of the car )
I figured it would be the same for the brake lines,,,,lines are long, and hard to hold onto with one person,,,,Might have to put the wife to work,,,lol  :woo:
