1 - i stopped going to the Nats because it has turned into a $1000+ weekend for me. even Carlisle too. i can remember when hotel, fuel, food and general spending money was about $400 to $600 bucks. fuel is down, but if you don't want to stay in some bedbug infested motel or have to drive over an hour one way to get to the show, your ALMOST at $200 a night for a room. plus i tired of boiling my nuggets in 100* heat. maybe i'm getting old, or just going has gotten old.
2 - sometimes i can be a bit of an arrogant NJ Italian. i was at a cruise talking to a friend of mine behind my car. we noticed someone leaning against my fender. so i walk around my car, go up to the guy and say, "nice car, is it yours?" after he says no, i said "well, got your Fu**ing Azz off my fender then." i got a sorry and he walked away. non car people have no intellect when it comes to cars. they think that it's just like every other car in the world. they don't treat their car with respect so why would they do the same for your car.
3 - as for car shows and cruises with the whole bicycle/stroller thing, i've learned which shows/cruises to take my car to. a couple times, it got so bad, that i put my chair between my front fender and the car next to me on both sides (yes, i always have 2 chairs with me).
