Thanks Dave!

I'm actually planning on swapping it over and going the big block route, and, money permitting, would like to do the tremec five speed conversion.  I figure that not much is going to be original about the car - might has well turn it in to exactly what I want .

Age is but a number, and I'll repeat that phrase more and more as the years go by lol.

Welcome: That's a neat car. Honestly I think a 4 speed, 340, 72 deserves a correct restoration. I can hardly wait to see it progress.

Thanks Sheldon.  I would agree if I already had the parts to go with it, but since I don't, and my dad's providing me with a 440 block, heads, crank, etc., I figured why not.  Original is always cool, but I'm a sucker for the sound of a big block!

If you're going 440 I always thought it would be neat to mimic what a 72, factory 440 would look like, blue engine, orange aircleaner etc. Anyway it will be a neat car. You'll get lots of help here if you need it. Very friendly site.
