Verticle are usually leather.  Horizontal are usually vinyl.

Clone: No question, I would go with the cloth option, no if's ands or but's.

I'm thinking comfort, we drive these cars on hot days, vinyl seats are not comfortable on hot days.

Leather is very comfortable on hot days in Florida.  And they smell good.

I have the skins for my R/T SE downstairs and yes they do smell like a new set of cowboy boots all right! If I didn't have the tag though I'd be putting cloth in. Just got back from the cruise in with the orange car. When I got out of it after the half hour drive across town the back of my shirt was soaking wet.

I Agree, I drove my R/T SE with leather allot of miles, yes they say leather breathes, well you still sweat when sitting on it... I did Salt & Pepper cloth inserts on a 70 Convertible, It was nice & cool driving compared to leather or vinyl.....
