Which would you rather own, a 1970 or 2010 Dodge Challenger?

Does the 1970 exterior dark burnt orange look ok to you or does it look "pale"? I ask because my car being restored is also a 1970 Challenger RT/SE (FK5) but not yet ready for paint, just curious. From the other  FK5's I have seen at car shows, there was always a slight discrepancy in color, but I thought FK5 was a little darker and sometimes almost looked like it had brown in the color

  Same here,plus my '71 chally is still under restoration and i wanted something to drive NOW and i always wanted one since they came out in 2008.

I prefer the smell and sound of an old e-body. Plus, it makes it nice I can work on them. 
So I much rather have a 70-71 any day.

I've had both, sold the 70 and bought a 2012 SRT392 Challenger woke up and realized "I'm an old car guy" sold the 2012 and bought my 71 'Cuda. Feels like I'm back where I belong.

New cars just don't have "IT" you can put a supercharged whiz bang blah, blah, blah in a new car and it still won't have "IT"

my coworker a couple month ago bought a new rt 5.7 six speed manual always thought about getting one since there prouduced. then we went to lunch one day in it well I was not impressed maybe the big boy srt8 will make me think other wise so with that note I stick with the oldschool 1970 rt /se

Wow, that convertible is identical to mine except mine isn't an R/T.  Mine is an N code with automatic and 3.23 too though.
I have an '09 R/T.  My first new car and lots of good times with it so far, but if I could only one I'd keep my '70, my vert is my favorite ride!
New Challengers are sort of like feet now, everyone has 'em.  My vert would be very hard to replace.
