12 volt source for electronic choke.
« on: August 19, 2015 - 06:52:08 AM »
I need a 12v source for the electronic choke. Is the altinator a  good choice. Or is there something better. I seem to have a choke problem and think it's because it's tied to the alt wire.

Use the blue wire tapped in at the ballast resistor. It comes hooked up that way for 6-pack idle solenoids. Same blue wire that goes to your VR regulator and one alternator field terminal.
