Is this a fair deal?
« on: May 25, 2005 - 11:23:00 AM »
I think I have a buyer for my 340. completely gone thru. It was line decked, line bored, line honed. .040, 9:5 to 1 pistons. 30-40k miles. Probably could use new valve stem seals.
Just the block, intake heads and dist. no carb or exhaust manifolds I'm asking 1,250.00
With exhaust manifolds and carb=1500.00 Add flywheel , pressure  plate and bell housing=1700.00

Are my prices in line?
Thanks for your input. Mike

It is a 70 block. It has the high output 2 1/4 exhaust manifolds and the original, rare spark plug heat shield with it too. I chromed that part so it would never rust away quickly.
