I'm trying to find actual functioning screens for my rally hood scoops for a 1970 Challenger R/T....does anybody out there make them?

There's not enough air flow to intake to butcher the hood to make it worthy.   :2cents:

:iagree: :iagree: :iagree:    Spot on, all it does is ruin the factory scoops.

My '71 had the rallye hood with the scoops wide open.  I agree there was not much air flow in, but it seemed to help allow the hot air from the motor out.

The Shelby GT 500, Firebird Formula, 442W,  put the air intake close to the edge of the hood where it actually would catch air to make a difference.

Aerodynacics of air show velocity decreases as it begins going over a hood.

The best hoods for air induction from Mopar were the 440+6 Super Bee and the T/A Challenger's.

Correction: 442 Hurst/Olds

That was a killer hood design.

Chevy's cowl induction was a good design as well.

Although opening up the holes might let some cooler air in, (not much due to location) it might allow water in as well
