6 way seat tracks for E Body, PG Classics.
« on: August 27, 2015 - 07:10:01 PM »
Have 2 for sale. We did install them , and had to slightly modify 1 bolt hole where they bolt to the seat frame ( open up the hole) . So we installed the driver side, and had to work with it to get it to slide back and forth, but got that taken care of. Then we did the passenger side turn it around backwards trick, and that just don't work, unless you want your babe staring at the headliner all night.  :smilielol: Then Jim comes in today ( stands over 6 foot ) and tries the driver seat, head hitting inside roof. And no headliner yet.  :roflsmiley:  Anyway, $250.00 each plus the ride. Paypal ok. Will ship UPS lower 48. Pics posted in morning. PM if interested. Thanks

Interesting :clueless: ...What would make you think that the driver's side would even work by just turning it around for the passenger side ? Having had cars with original ones, I never would have thought of the possibility....

At least now we know the answer....LoL :2thumbs:

We followed the guidlines outlined in the Hamtramck link Jim posted and it worked. However the tilt was now to far rearward. To fix that we put spacers between the track and rear seat mounting points to raise the rear up, but the seat was now to high. So our next plan was to disassemble the tracks @ the rivits, turn the top portion around, then cut the handles and reweld them on the right side, which would have worked perfect. But after doing a scientific cost to benefit study, we nixed the program.  :roflsmiley:  Anyway, the tracks are $250.00 each plus ship. Does not include the under floor brackets, were leaving them in the car. Here's some pics.   :rebel:
