Got some more wiring done today, mainly got the right side look squared away. I also test fitted the heater hoses (still waiting on the intake fitting). I made a bracket to hold the heater hoses above the alternator (modified a old one I had laying around).

Not sure what I am going to do for the valve cover breathers, originally I intended to make a setup like they used on the trans am cars but now I am not sure if I am still going to do that. The big caps you see on the valve covers are threaded onto large AN fittings.

Very nice.  :2thumbs: I really like how clean and simple it looks yet there is quite a bit happening under that hood.

One of the reasons it has taken as long as it has, trial and error, fit, remove, adjust.... I am pleased with the outcome thus far. Got the radiator in today, I will be using a normal SB lower hose (gates) but will have to fabricate my upper hose, I will be sure to post some pictures of how that goes. I probably need to test fit the hood to ensure the radiator clears pretty soon as well.

Thank you sir! It does look pretty good I have to admit. I just have to decide what I want to do with the evacuation system (if anything). I guess I could just leave those big threaded caps on and use them as oil filling ports. As you can see I have a PCV valve on the left side VC, so I am not sure if I need to spend the time to build something else. I PM'd Mitch (member here) who auto crosses his TA clone and he says he is just running a factory PCV valve so I suspect that will work. As you can see, I am running out of room in there.

Is the blue cap a breather? If not I would put a breather on the right VC with a hose to your air cleaner. Allows for excess crankcase pressure to be evacuated and allows for the PCV to operate by pulling in clean air that passes through the air cleaner first. Excess CC gas will be ingested if the gas pressure in the crankcase exceeds the capacity of the PCV.

Or at least that is what I have long thought was the correct configuration.

Otherwise plumb both sides to the exhaust to pull CC gasses out with the exhaust.
Maybe with better looking Billet Breathers...

No, the blue cap is a fill cap. The 2 "nut" like things (one on each cap) are covering large AN fittings. I was going to make something like in this picture.

Son Nick's blown Mustang developed enough pan pressure to push oil out places it shouldn't go out and he just last weekend started to plumb in the 10AN fittings into the valve covers and to mount the Moroso catch can that has 2 AN inlets with a vented breather on top. The idea was to run the VC lines back  to a T to hook into the lifter valley and the two hoses would go into the catch can, which might work for you and yours. We can't run them into the exhaust here in the Peoples Republic of Ontario due to emissions inspections or we'd just do that. Good luck and the engine compartment looks awesome!

Thanks, good info. Right now I am going to replicate the system in the picture using AN -20 fittings and 1.25 ID hose as well as 2 KN filters. If things get oily/messy then I will switch to plan B which will be to bring in a catch can system. Biggest issue is that I dont really have any space for a catch can, but if I needed one I suspect I could find somewhere. The nice thing is that the system I am going to make is completely removable.

Finished up the wiring under the hood and got all of the holes in the carpet opened up, then got to test fit my Neon SRT seats for the first time. Another member here stated that they are too tall and I had test fitted them prior but without the sound dead proofing and carpet. With everything in I found that the SRT seats are great. I still need to put the steering column in and see how all that works. All in all I am happy with them and will be using them.

I realize the pictures are a bit hard to see. Still need to get them redone, unfortunately this is going to be very expensive, like $700 per seat.... I am working a deal with a guy to perhaps do some trading to get them redone.

Just scrolled thru all 60 pages - wow what a journey!

Perhaps I missed it, but can you provide some details on the throttle bodies?

You are a glutton for punishment for sure.  Yes it has been a very long and interesting journey thus far, still have a ways to go.

What would you like reference the throttle bodies, pictures or information?

So I am playing with blacking out the stainless around the windows, I have some matte black shrink tape that is used on modern cars to black out trim. Here are comparison pictures.
