So, I have all of the glass in, doors and quarters are adjusted. I am using a universal T molding to go around the back window and windshield but having some issues with it staying down. I am going to use some urethane windshield sealant.

I installed the rear spoiler and mirrors, its really starting to look like a car.

For anyone interested, I used buytl ribbon tape for the door vapor barriers. it works good. I have a fair amount of sound deadner in/on the doors; they sound like modern car doors when you close them

Nice job on the details. If I recall correctly the butyl tape or pinch weld primer is not to be used with urethane.  I used a black silicone to smooth the gaps on the windows.  I don't understand the risks or concern with mixing the two products but thought I'd share the note.

It should be on the road soon now.

I appreciate the information. I have read things similar but have also read where people have used the urethane on the outside of the buytl. That said, I am going to use something else anyway.

I still need to get it into the air and do all of the things underneath. Its pretty close but now find myself dreading what might happen; wont start, no power, something...

I will keep chugging along and will eventually get it done.

Would you mind sharing some details about what T-channel you used for your windshield and back glass? I'm really curious how you were able to make it follow the curves around the glass channels so well. How was that done? After seeing your results, I'm kind of toying with this idea for my Cuda too.

Sure, but I should state up front that I am not done with it.

I used a 3/4" t universal molding (CRL PN#T110). It has an adhesive on the wide side which I put on the body, it turns around the corners pretty well, but keeping it there is the key. The adhesive is pretty decent but the corners are difficult so I am thinking about using 2 things; first is I think I am going to replace the adhesive with 3M double sided tape, second is that I am going to use some adhesive in the channel to help hold the molding and help to seal the glass. I believe the glass is sealed, but I want to be sure.

I recently ordered some other molding; also a T molding but it uses buytl tape in the glass channel (its a part of the molding that sits around the edge of the glass). The molding I have now is universal/generic and doesn't really grip the glass which is why I believe I need some adhesive in the channel to help it.

If you are interested, I will get some pictures.

The Cuda is looking very sharp, with your attention to detail I now it will fire up first time.

I will use the Buytl ribbon tape on my doors if I can find it here in NZ.

Yes, please post some pics of the T-mouldings (especially the one with the butyl tape). Have a part number for the moulding with butyl tape? I think there are people watching this that would be interested.
I'm sure you're aware that the old stainless steel mouldings trap water behind them which causes rust. These T-mouldings might be a solution for that.

I got the drivers door panel assembled and installed, too a lot more time than it should have, seemed like the car was fighting me along the way. In the end, I won.

mrob asked me on a PM about wiring in a larger output alternator. I am attaching 2 diagrams, the BW one is how the stock system lays out and the colored one is how I am doing it. Bottom line is that I am running the output of the alternator to the starter relay and then to the starter and using a circuit breaker.

Here are the pictures related to my windshield and back glass. Keep in mind that I put my windows in using Buytl tape so that the glass would be relatively level with the body work. What I am getting at is that the T molding only has to cover the gap. If you were going to use this or another type of molding, there would be step as from the factor the glass sits lower. In other words, I do not think the molding would work to replace the stainless.
