The company is called Car Builder solutions. The switch isn't perfect but looks better than a standard toggle.

Like all plans, they change... LOL I determined that I wanted to use a different toggle switch than I was using to develop my "retro knob". The result was that I had to change the design a little to accommodate the larger stem on the toggle switches I wanted to use. The new knob while similar is larger than the originals, that said I like them and will be using them.

I am still working on the electrical, for those keeping score I am using an aftermarket 22 circuit wiring harness from Kwik Wire. It is a pretty decent harness except that it doesn't really provide any ability to ad circuits. Fortunately there are a number circuits that I am not going to use such as power door locks and power windows which provide me with both switched and constant power. I have to add a couple of buss bars for these two circuits as well as a grounding point. The real problem is where to put all of it as there isn't a lot of room under the dash. I don't have the dash frame installed yet but will probably soon. At the moment I am laying everything out and trying to locate all of the items that need wiring before hand. The objective is to run all of the wire holistically so it not only looks good but is functional as well.

I spent some time building a mount for the amp I am going to be using, still have to finish that up and get it painted and installed. I am waiting on some wiring components to be able to make some serious headway on this.

I have no doubt you are right and in retrospect I could/should have perhaps done that. That said, the unit I am using isn't bad just not as flexible as I would have liked. It has a lot of capability and potential, I just have to "customize" it as needed. Not the end of the world or really a problem, just something I need to deal with.

Where did you mount your box? Currently space is my biggest problem or perhaps better said the lack thereof.

I am trying to determine what I want to use for my accessories power distribution. I have a number of buss bars, but now  am thinking I want them fused, so now I am looking for better solutions. I intend to put these inside my custom made console which will allow easy access by removing one side panel (4 screws).

Mine is in the glove box. One day I’ll finish it out with a cut up factory glove box insert. It gives me access to all I need pretty well.

I have two large breakers under the dash frame that handle fuse protection for the entire box. From there each circuit has appropriate sized fuses.

I’ve had to change and add things a little since my initial install, but it’s all still in nice shape overall

You can see it floating in the box there. There are nutserts in the frame that let me get them in/out if I need to later.

It’s quite nice to lay out the harness with a bare dash frame, i installed the dash pad after it was all wired up.

I have my FAST ECU mounted in my glove box (I coated the outside of the box with fiberglass resin to make it hard, the inside looks stock except for the ECU in there) currently and I have my fuse box on a bracket welded to the firewall right above the gas pedal. It isn't horrible but will require getting down on the floor to get to it. I don't have my dash installed yet although I do have the pad on the frame on a stand. At this point I am not sure if I could move it.

Things get tight in that area for me with the column in and the ducting to the Vintage Air box. If you aren't completely set on that ECU location, the kickpanel worked well for me. ECU tucks away completely unseen. :dunno:

I have decided I am going to install the dash frame w/o the pad. I also found the accessory power distribution block I am going to use, it allows for ground, switched power and constant power which is exactly what I need. I will probably mount it inside the console I built. This will allow me to wire all of accessories that my harness don't directly support.
