You could have some fun with naming some of those like ejection seat, rocket launcher no one could figure out how to hot wire your car

LOL yea that would be funny (for about a minute if there was a problem)...

I am continuing on working on the wiring, I haven't relocated the fuse box just yet but am going to really look at that. I am also trying to decide how I am going to start the car because I am using a universal tilt wheel w/o ignition switch. I have a hot dot push button starting system that I am going to be using. the only problem with their system is that the actual push to start button very small; so I have been looking at and buying other buttons but haven't really decided yet. I just ordered a 25mm button from Digital Dawg which seems to have potential. The hot dot controller activates the ignition system with the button merely cycling though the system; one push is accessory, second push and hold is to start, push while running and it disconnects it.

Well I haven't gotten much done on the car, I keep getting pulled into other projects (or I invent them...). On that note, I thought about making a wire rack for a long time and once I  got in all the rolls of wire I had the perfect opportunity to do just that. I used a variety of scrap I already had and built this.

Finally got back to work on the Cuda a bit, pulled out the entire harness as I am going to attempt to mount it into the glove box. I worked on my front relay panel some, managed to break it so had to order another one at $56....  :swear: I also removed the pad off the dash frame and am going to put that into the car so I can position the fuse box and run the wiring. IF.. I can get this done I should be able to get moving along... hopefully...

Spent some quality time with the car tonight, after some careful thought I decided to mount the fuse box in the glove compartment. Initially I considered using the factory box which I had fiberglassed to add strength however dismissed it and decided instead to build a new box entirely. I am very happy with the outcome; just have to weld it all up, drill some holes and drill a hole for the light. It will be painted inside and out black but I believe I will paint the interior of it with plastic coat which will give it a rubbery texture and provide some sound deadening (make it seem less like metal). I decided to do this due to the weight of the fuse box and wiring primarily, secondary my original box was pretty ratty and needed to be replaced.

When I started this project, I tried really hard to keep costs down and reused everything I could; somewhere along the line this changed and I have pouring money into the car through a very large funnel ever since...  :money:

Thanks, took a few hours but I am liking it.  Will definitely be easier to get to then where I had it under the dash. I still need to locate and mount the EFI ECU (looking to go where you did) and I have to find a place to mount my accessories panel (switched, constant power and ground) which I am thinking will go either near the fuse box behind the dash but mounted facing the floor or perhaps inside my manufactured console. I need to mount the dash frame and mock everything up.

Put some more time into the glove box and the fuse box; it just needs to be painted but I need to mock everything up first to make sure I am not going to change/add anything. Since the last pictures, I welded it all up, put a hole in for the light and made a cover that closes off some of the hole needed for the fuse box and added a number of nutserts to hold it into the dash. All and all I am very happy with it; beats the cardboard for sure..

Continuing on; I finished this up and found a home for the ECU. I think this will work out well.

WoW i feel your pain on the wiring.
Deep into it with mine ECU (final location yet to be established, trunk battery, fuse and relay block back there and another up front for light and fan accessories, etc...

Nice setup on the glove box.
Keep plugging you will get there.
Removing the warning labels one at a time.
Nature will take care of the rest.

Thanks, I think I am on the path forward now. Waiting for the paint to dry on the box and associated parts, then I need to put it all in and start wiring it all up. Still need to locate where I am going to put my accessory panel.

I finally got my front relay panel built (PIA). I just have one more panel to locate and I should be ready to actually run the wiring.
