For me, that's what this is about; making something I envision, hopefully better than it was. Doing this car along with the others I have built have taught me a lot skills I never thought of. Also, it has facilitated the purchase of many new tools which make possible the construction of what I see in my mind.

Thanks, it goes in spurts; sometimes I can get a lot done and others (like this week) it seems like 1 thing takes forever.

So are you saying you dont like the black or... ?
I'd be very tempted to put a Matte Black wrap on to carry the Black all the way up and over and down the deck lid.
Entire top half Black.  Wrap or Plastidip both are easy to undo.
I would probably black out the stainless on the quarter window too and tint the windows with some 20% Tint.  :cooldancing:
Whatever you do I'm certain I'm going to like it.  Awesome comes in many flavors!  :aarg:

Thank Randy, I am still debating what I am going to do. Right now I am obsessing over the breather system for the engine.

Thanks, I am using some of those on the water pump hose and thought about them for the radiator hose.

Still plugging away, got the fuel lines connected, lower radiator hose installed, and the VC breathers installed. I ended up switching the valve covers around so that the filler cap is in the front and the vents were in the back. I am attaching a picture of my valve train in case anyone is interested.

If I recall, you used to have an Accusump mounted on the passenger side fender well, inside the engine bay.   Did you remove or relocate it?

Sharp eye, yes I used to have a accusump mounted but I removed it because of several reasons, first is that it took up too much room and second I didn't think I needed it. I still have it, but haven't decided what to do with it. I thought about selling it.

Very cool to see this coming along so well.

I will be another voice of not really on the blacked out trim. Just something about it  ...
Removing the warning labels one at a time.
Nature will take care of the rest.

Definitely seems to be the general opinion. We will see once I get the front and black glass in.
