Got back on Friday from a business trip, got back to work on the wiring and spent all day wiring up the console. Everything has a disconnect of some type. The stereo has two; one on the stereo itself and another to the harness so that if I ever change stereo's I dont have to cut and splice. I now have to connect everything and button it up, then its on to the trunk area..

I got the front of the interior buttoned up and the steering column installed. Time for the trunk area. I am also providing a picture of the E body steering column can puller in case anyone is interested.

I got a little work done on the car today, got the package tray covered the other day and installed today. I also finished up the rear window defroster completely installed and fitted the amp mount.

Ahhh, the details.  They are really dragging for me but I keep focused on your saying "one thing a day". It's nice to see your progress.  It should be on the road soon now correct?

Just keep plugging away at it and it will eventually get done. I am really hoping to get it running this summer (as in pretty soon).

Yeah me too. I just discovered that I have to modify the back seat because I moved the rear fender wells inward some to fit the 305's. I am also still working on the wiring as well. I need to order new interior panels since mine are all jacked up, just trying to decide who I should buy them from. I did talk to my upholstery guy and he said he will be open in 2 weeks to do my seats. I still need to modify the SRT seats and put the seat belt inserts in them (hole in the shoulder area).

Recently figured out a charge issue I have had for a long time. When in doubt bypass the OEM. Now I am chomping at the bit to get the FI wiring going forward again.

I have been working on the car some, I determined that I have to modify my back seat frame because I had mini tubbed the car. Not super difficult but time consuming. Fortunately I don't have the seats redone yet so I can see what I need to do. I am going to have to modify the new interior panels once I get them which kind of sucks (taking a saw to brand new panels), but it is what it is.

Work continues on modifying the back seat frame. I determined I needed to trim the panels more to get them to fit and then had to narrow the bottom of the back (part your back goes against) frame about 2". They are almost done so I then can move onto something else.

Are you planning to install a roll bar or cage inside the interior?  4-6-8 pt?

No I am not. I thought about it during the planning phase and while I was/am going to for the "road race" vibe, I seriously doubt I will ever actually road race it, at best I would auto X it. This isnt from a lack of desire to do so, just a more logistics, revenue and time reality. The car is certainly stiff enough for auto X and/or "spirited" driving and if I were to find myself in a position to actually race the car, I would have to go back and put some type of roll bar in it to be legal.

Not too much to report, got the back seat frames modified, and the front seats modified with the seat harness slots, and sent the seats off to the upholstery shop. I am going to have them done with the same pattern, probably like the original pattern (73 Cuda). The idea is to make the seats look as if they belong there.

Been working on installing the door weather stripping as well. I ordered all new panels from Dave at Roseville Moparts, can't go wrong there.

Have gotten some of the wiring in the trunk done, I installed a vent in the filler tube and ran a line to the right side that goes to a -6 AN bulkhead connector and vents under the car.

lastly, I might be picking up a 68 Barracuda fastback today. I have always liked them but just never fell into one. My upholstery guy is a huge Mopar guy and while dropping off the seats showed me a 68 FB Cuda that he acquired some time ago and wants to move. Its a 318 AT on the floor car, as expected a bit rough overall but we will see.
