Cowel to A Pillar joint
« on: August 29, 2015 - 08:28:43 AM »
I am about to install the Cowel on a 1973 Cuda.  Unfortunately I did not take pictures of what the installed joint looked like before I removed the old firewall and cowel.  I know that there was seam sealer involved.  I'm using a replacement panel so the joint is not perfect but I'm thinking okay given the amount of seam sealer used previously.  Can anyone help me with a picture of a completed joint?

Thanks.  It looks like there is margin for error.  My lip on the cowel is a bit raised but still within a tolerance for the windshield and seam sealer and window caulking. I'm welding today and will show pics later on.
