At this point I thought, "Well, OK, if I'm doing it right, I might as well go big!".
I definitely did not want to take the "old school mopar" away from the Cuda, so EFI, 4 link suspension, engine swap, modern transmission were not a choice for me. I started to think what can I do with the car so it handles and drives better, but still stays 70s muscle car. I read a lot of material, including various threads on this forum, searched for opinions on other sites, and finally came to this formula (which I think is pretty obvious, no rocket science here): I decided to stay with carbureted 440 and 4 speed manual, but install a Hotchkis TVS, new steering box, make some chassis bracing, and put a new exhaust with an X-pipe.
The last question was color. I got 3 variants - original TB3 Basin Street Blue, FY1 Lemon Twist or 70s FJ6 Sassy Grass. That was a difficult one. One or two weeks it took me to make up my mind, but my choice was FY1.
And as you can see I already got new rims!
