My newest project, only thing I've done so far is brought her home today! :grinyes:

Glad to see you got her home safe Plum. When we both get them running someday, we'll go cruisin in Reno on Hot August nights.

I used POR-15 on my new tank and the bottom side of the new trunk panels and extensions.

Thanks!  Forgive my ignorance, but what is POR-15?

Por-15 is rust preventative paint.  Stuff is as tough as nails, but expensive.

Here's a link:  http://www.por15.com/

My buddies at the body shop got around to lightly sanding and buffing/polishing the car. Had a terrible amount of overspray on it and it's been sitting for 25 years so normal clay wouldn't take it off. Paint is just amazing on this car. Pictures don't do it justice. I know it's not eveyrone's cup of tea, but whover painted this car was d**n good. These pictures are from a real overcast day. This car is going to glow in the sun.  :eekbig:
Choppintime I like that paint job. That's old school. You should post up some pics of it.

Glad to see everyone is making progress. I have the body assembly done.  The interior just needs a few things like the rear seats being covered. The fronts are ready to go but will install them last in case I need to do anything else besides the radio under the dash before I finish. Now the most time & money consuming part I still have about 65% of the things under the hood to finish so I figure a few more months at least. I'll try and post a few pics in the next thread.
