Today that seems cheap but back then that was a lot of money! Minimum wage was what? $1.60 and hour x 2000 hours = $3200 before taxes. The car was just over a years wages.... I guess it's about the same now? A Hellcat is about 2 years wages though PLUS the additional taxes we have now.

yes, Ivy green.  The original owner had it repainted white when the paint died because he did not like the color, the door jams and some of the other areas were still green.

There was a beautiful dark green AAR at our local Mopar show this summer.  I love that color on the AAR's!
