I got this emailed to me.

It's very similar to the car at Legendary Motorcar, except colours of course.

http://www.legendarymotorcar.com/site2/listing/1970-plymouth-hemi-cuda-convertible/

so what is it worth? I love the colour combo my guess is ~1 million. At least I hope it gets at least this since I love the oddity options. I want a bench seat, column shifted non-dana hemicuda.

...and the fact one is a 70 and the other a 71...only a couple of million difference in price. :2cents:

That car is coming out of Brett Torino's collection. Didn't the black John Herlitz '70 HemiCuda convertible that just sold at Monterey come out of Brett's collection too? Pretty sure that it did. Hmmmm? Brett is liquidating his HemiCuda convertibles for BIG $$$$! Wonder what's up with that? Does he foresee a decline in their value ahead? Or does he just need the $$$$ for a big real-estate deal?

I got to see it right after it was done, it looks as good in person as it does in the pictures. It looks brand new inside and out. It doesn't have hardly any more miles on it than when I had it. Yes , Julius did an excellent job on it.

Would you ever consider buying it back ?

I've spoke with Kevin Suydam and even though his blue one set the record at 3.5 mil, he still regrets selling it...maybe he'll buy the white one ? :dunno:

No, I'm happy with my clone. I will always regret letting it go but, I didn't want a numbers matching museum piece I wanted a driver and I would have driven it. I've got a Hellcat Challenger, my Hemicuda clone and some other cars so I'm happy. It will be interesting to see who buys it.
Funny coincidence, I just ran across the original camshaft out of that car in the shop the other day.
