You've convinced me.  I'll have to tell them it's a G34.  Thank you all for your help!  I really appreciate it!

I had to take notes on this one, so if I miss a question here please let me know?

G54 was not an available mirror option for 1970 Challengers.

Fender tags do run in an alpa - numeric sequence except for some options.

S codes appear on broadcast sheets, not fender tags.

E-bodies with no mirror codes do exist. The standard mirror was a non-remote. They are unusual. If you see a 1970 tag with no mirror code, then the car came with the el-cheapo mirror.

1970 cars with two mirrors can have two seperate codes on the tag, or only one code for two mirrors like G36. It seams to depend on the time of year if two mirrors were coded seperately or together.

Did I cover everything? I hope not, I like to keep a few secrets.

T/Ake care,
Barry

:dontknow: Plum you just may be in a tad of warm water  :dontknow:. Red made the post, perhaps Rev. was actually holding the new tag  :dontknow:. Now the potential problem here may be: (1) You insinuate that either Red has femine lady hands, or (2) You are suggesting that Rev has hands that looks like a mans' but is in desperate need of a manicure. LOL. But hey, I guess we'll find out, right?
