Dyno Results at the wheel
« on: October 01, 2015 - 07:07:13 PM »
Sorry, I couldn't find my original thread with the engine dyno results.  Well, I finally worked with a really great garage and got it all sorted out. After a new fuel system installation the car hit the dyno and we achieved 818 HP at the wheels. The owner said there was about another 50 hp in her but we decided not to max it out. That works for me.  I understand there is about a 20% loss thru the 727 which would put the engine at around 1028 HP.  The original engine dyno was 991 HP. I gained around 30 hp with the new carb and tuning.

Here is a photo but I don't think it is too good.  Raining heavy here so not good light with the door closed.

I'm curious, this is one hell of a setup!! Could you post more pics please? Have you strengthened the chassis because I think it won't handle all this horsepower.  Is it streetable?

I wanted to answer your question but will post more pics when I can. Yes the chassis is strengthened.  It is streetable. The saet up used to be high compression  but I changed it to this so I could use it on the street more but yet achieve more HP.
