340 into a 416
« on: October 04, 2015 - 03:17:32 PM »
I just got my motor done and love the power it was putting out. Here is what I got in case some one wants a motor to run about the same.
Lower assembly is eagle competition 30 over. That the steel crank and stroker H-beam rods and mauhle pistons.
Heads are cast number 4772576. I don't know much about them but had 2.02 intake valves and 1.60 exhaust. Heads are ported a little.
Intake is a torquer 340 eddy. This has also been ported to match the heads.
Carb is a 750 holley double pumper with a proform center body. I converted it over to run E-85.
Ignition is msd. Plugs on this run were ngk.
Heads cc out to 68 and block had a very slight decking done. Motor builder came up that it made the heads equal to 65cc.
Compression is 11.35. I know it's a little high but that's were E-85 comes in.
     Cam is a Errson.
Below is all the figures. Please let me here what you think about it.
The only thing I forgot to have corrected on the dyno sheet is that my jets in the front are 80 now.
Its just a little 340 with a miss
