Sounds to me like you have your bases covered, wire transfer is the only way to do business these days. Looking forward to seeing more pictures of your Challenger. I wish I could afford 2 cars I would love to have a Cuda also especially a 71.

Trying to pull any B.S. will not work out in his favor. I'd say the balls in my court.

If I were you...I would have his deposit ready in cash in my hand....as soon as he tries to change the agreed price, pull out his deposit, hand it to him, and ask him to turn around and go home....no arguing, no compromise, no negotiating .....

No one's going to drive 8.5 hrs then go home empty handed....
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !

I feel I have represented this car as honestly as I possibly could. I sent pictures of the "issues" with the car that make it "driver quality" and not a show car. This guy understands exactly what he's coming to see. He expects to paint the car and work out any bugs that 45 year old cars always seem to have. He buys and sells Cuda's and knows "There's meat on the bone" for him.

Alan I appreciate what you've said about holding his cash in hand and offering it right back. I am going to do just that but I fully expect him to be a no B.S. guy like me. So far he has been a man of his word and I respect that.

I am also looking forward to sharing the pictures of the new Challenger and hearing what you think I should do. Once I post the pictures I'm sure there's going to be LOT'S of opinions (trust me). And I look forward to your opinion as well as anyone else willing to give it. Man I love this site!!!

I will sad to see it leave the Forum, it was (I guess still is) a beautiful ride.

Hope it's a cc. member

It's not unfortunately.

Hey Ron, be sure to tell the new owner of the Cuda about C-C.com! :chatting:

THE CUDA IS SOLD , LOADED ON A TRAILER AND HEADED BACK TO NORTH CAROLINA

The new owner is a no B.S. guy who immediately after taking a good look at the car told me "YOUR MONEY IS ON THE WAY" 15 minutes later it was wired into my account. Smooth and Easy
