Original Speaker Re-Coning ?
«

Anybody have their original speakers re-coned ? I'm referring to the 4 X 10 dash speakers mainly, but I would like to find some original 6 X 9 rear speaker cores to have done as well.
If so, WHERE ?

*-I had speakers re-coned back in my "band" days. The guy that did it would be about 125 by now. This is the first time I've even seen mention of it in years.

None of those guys list car speakers. I contacted two places now that said they wouldn't be able to get the odd shaped parts to do car speakers.
I had some done years ago, but can't remember where. I think I sent them to somebody and they sent them out type thing
