360 Block Differences

I know that early 340s have higher nickel content and thicker cylinder walls. I just saw a post on Moparts about selling 360 blocks that called them out as "not the early ones." I've never heard anything about any meaningful differences between 360 blocks. Anybody have any info?

I didn't see the moparts post, but there is a few "generations" of 360's. 
1971-approx 1986 regular pre-magnum 360's, with a main bearing trust flange OD change around 1974.
1987-1991 is pre-magnum, but most blocks are setup for roller, and still have the oil holes for shaft rockers.
Later blocks are magnum, so roller, no provision for shaft rocker oiling.

To my knowledge the nickle content never changed , later 400 & 440  blocks were not softer to cut when boring them .
 I fyou want to use a hyd roller the 87-92 block is a better choice

To the best of my knowledge, only the T/A 340 blocks had "high nickel content", as well as their thicker main webbing which better suited adaptation of 4-bolt main caps.

The 71 360, only, supposedly had thicker cylinder walls similar to the 340 blocks.
Autocross/road racers go in deeper... and come out harder!

Thanks for all the responses.

I've been told by a few engine builders familiar with Mopar that the 68-71 340s can be reliably bored .060 over, but that the later blocks would only go to .040. Is this not true?

I can tell you that boring any Ford or GM block is a lot easier than bore any Mopar , they are all high nickle .
 I will not bore anything to even .040 without a sonic check
