    So I am going to go with air shocks on the rear like I have on my B body and that way I can be somewhat flexible.

    I really like the factory look of the AAR and T/A.  They are a bit higher in the rear then mine.

    i agree, those upper shock mounts weren't designed to support all that extra weight

    Its your car but this is a mistake, potentially very costly mistake.  Either re-arch the springs, buy new ones that are +1', and/or drop the front.
