EFI tank vent line location????

Im going to be installing an Aeromotive Phantom 340 in tank EFI system in the near future, regarding the vent line, it states that the vent line should be mounted higher than the top of the filler neck with an anti rollover valve on the end of it.

what have you guys done and where have you mounted it please, any ideas???

you may have seen in another post I mentioned I have a new OEM style tank with the 4 forward facing vent lines, I will either block these off and use the Phantom vent line or I may still use the 4 vent lines maybe three pending how the installation of the phantom goes as each of these internal vent tank lines have an anti rollerver valve. As Im getting rid of the charcoal canister and vent line forward it might be that I simply run a flex line over to one of the fender wells as high as I can, I dont think I can put it inside the trunk even with a valve on it as it would smell of gas inside the car etc

Thanks Greg, yeah, I'm following the other EFI fuel line thread also.  I'm getting a new tank with a built-in pump from Tanks Inc, and they say that it is vented with the pump and a rollover ventvalve, thats included.

I am running a stock e-body tank.  I used the regular sending unit vent tube and ran a line along the body structural support in front of the tank. I attached it with a couple of fuel line clips, three years going now no issues.  As long as the inlet portion of the hose is above the tank you should have any issues. I also tilted mine down and the end to keep moisture out.

Thanks guys, thats about what I was looking at doing, my sender doesnt have the vent though. Im thinking I'll leave the vent on the Phantom blocked and use the original tank vents, they can go into that small metal canister up on the shock mount crossmember and I'll divert the line that runs forward into one of the wheel wells (probably soft line) taking it up vertically from the chassis rail so as it is higher than the filler tube and am thinking of simply inserting something like a diff housing breather into the end of the tube to stop crap getting into the vent tube
