$50 bucks so far?  :dunno:

Those  look to be the Palco reproductions. They are junk...they don't fit well, they have the wrong texture and are made from the wrong material.

Yup.  The ebay seller states they are reproduction.

Hey Dave, we have purchased two sets of A pillar trims that are not very good. And tagged as "Authentic Mopar Restoration Part" I never tried installing them because the texture of the graining is so far off. They look cheap.   :2cents:
I think its a part we really need.  We just ordered the kick panels   :2thumbs:                                :rebel:

I ordered the kick panels two days ago from Dave. Looking forward to them.

Charge $1000 for the rear pairs if you have to.

Have 500 people put a $500 deposit.  That's $250,000.  Still not enough?

I'd do that in a NY minute!

The last time the vert panels were in the works they cost around $800 for the pair .I think Metro  needed 100 pairs of each to get them produced .. Metro never  received enough  deposits to start ....

That sounds reachable.. Should also factor in how many of us waiting for these so we can order matching door panels at the same time.

Does it really cost $80 000 in startup cost to produce a few pieces of injection molded plastic? Or does the company counting on making a big profit from piece 1 with no risk at all...

we looked into this and possibly pick up where metro left off. its more than 80k for the tooling for cuda or challenger and then you have to factor in set run costs.

I agree I think now that many people know the quality of the door panels, that they may be more willing to step up on rear interior panels.
David, you should try and figure the exact cost and then put the price out there....you never know. :dunno:

I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !

I agree with Dave. Tooling is expensive and the cost he mentions is in-line with past costs I have seen working in contract manufacturing.
