Starting... well for me tomorrow.  But Thursday I'll be posting pictures to my Instagram, Facebook and Flickr, Twitter and Periscope feeds right from the show floor.  Below are the links.

And I don't know how to link a periscope feed.  But it should be under Auto Archaeology.

I've always wondered why they call it Muscle Car  " AND " Corvette . Maybe they don't consider Corvettes as muscle cars   :clueless:     Whatever sells tickets.    :rebel:

Well, there is a story behind the name and selling tickets wasn't the main reason.
There was a show here this time of the year for many years that was called Chevy Vettefest or something like that.
After a while, the show had pretty much run its course and even the vette guys would admit it was very long in the tooth.
They were going to call it quits but still had a reservation for the convention hall for the next year.  Someone had the idea to try to reinvent the show by opening it up to all makes.  So they renamed the show "Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals".  And the rest is history, I doubt anyone had any idea just how successful, a Pheonix of a worn out Chevy and  Vette show, this show would become!!!  :wow:
After the second year or so, they were going to drop the "vette" part of the name and just call it Muscle Car Nationals, but by now, the name and the acronym "MCACN" was sort of established, so that idea was shelved and it will be MCACN forever.
As the late Paul Harvey would say, "that my friends, is the rest of the story"!  :grinyes:

Now they are talking about us getting hit with snow Friday night into Saturday.  A couple inches up to 10+ depending on whose forecast/model you see.  That's crazy, the weather has been unseasonably warm the last few months, was in the 60s last weekend.  And now a early season snowstorm?  What in the sam hill is going on here??
I guess we will wait and find out.  Ground should be pretty warm, so snow on pavement and parking lots should melt fast.  Still I hope they are wrong, and at worst we just get enough to whiten the ground and trees.
I hope my daily driver Dart doesn't get stuck in snow in the employee parking which is about a 1/2 mile away in a gravel parking lot.  :eek4:

Plan on going again this year ... provided there isn't a freak blizzard that will stop me from driving up I-55 from The Lou.

Well looks like that "freak blizzard", or "Alberta Clipper" as they are calling it on the news, is going to happen ... but I'm coming anyway ... see you there!
Cheers!

I have six inches of snow in Madison Wi this am and it is continuing to snow.  Chicago is supposed to be getting more snow and for a longer time.  That makes me bail out on going to this show.  I was so excited about getting there and seeing those awesome cars.  I will have to wait for next year.  Bummer for me.  I hope anyone else traveling there today has safe travels.  J

Most of the cars were in the building Thursday, and the remaining cars I believe made it in before the snow started. We left the show (done setting up our booth) Friday about 2:30pm and it wasn't snowing yet, but when we went to dinner (6:30?) it was. Attendance was down Saturday, and Sunday seemed a bit busier than normal, so hopefully overall it wasn't affected too much. Man, WHAT a show....

Sorry no photo's. Was working the booth 99% of all hours of the event.
