My suggestion would be to do like I did with my 71 Cuda when converting to electronic ignition. I bought a conversion kit which included everything (distributor, ecu, ballast, and wiring) I bought a harness for electronic ignition from Bill Evans (Evans Wiring) and then the bracket from Rocket Restorations that mounts the ECU to the back of the valley pan behind the intake. Converting back to original points type is a simple bolt-on and you haven't drilled any holes in your firewall. This also hides the fact that your car isn't "stock".
