There should be an anchor point where the folded up shoulder belt fastened to.
Ok great, so there should be a mounting point?

If so, I can just get the XV belts and install them.

When did they start to install 3-point seat belts? 1971 or it was an option the buyer had to pay extra?

1974 I think was the first year of the one piece shoulder belt. My car (1970) has them in it (1974 belts) The previous owner installed them along with the bigger steering box and bigger bearing front spindles. I'm not 100% sure the anchor point is in your car enough to say yes order them but pretty sure, hopefully someone else will chime in soon with an answer and maybe a picture.

Do they perhaps mount where the holder for the standard shoulder belts mounted?

I have the XV belts.  FYI they are another brand and resold with XV stickers on the button. I can't remember where they get them from. I bought them YEARS ago.

anyhow, I like the belts a lot.  I used stock mounting holes. My cuda came with shoulder harnesses so I just used the bolt holes that existed. They have extenders that seem to put the shoulder strap in the correct place.

Ill take pics when I get home.

Did you ever end up finding them?
I'm in the same situation with my '71 and don't really want to mess up my headliner.
I felt around but didn't feel anothing obvious, I could have been in the wrong spot however.

A photo (and maybe even with a reference point and tape measure) would be super helpful if someone had one! I found and old thread (here) but the photos appear gone.

Okay, so I felt around some more this evening and found two possible locations. For both I can feel what seems like a bracket under the headliner plus a hole. #1 is a hard guess, #2 was easy to find.
I am thinking that the #1  location makes more sense but I am using my best guess there is a threaded hole there, hard to tell with the headliner pulled tight. #2 seems much to far toward the rear of the car but what do I know...
So which one is it? And what may the other hole used for?

Thanks for the help folks!

Also, anyone that has a good lead on the bolts used that would be great. When I helped my buddy strip an a body they looks like shoulder bolts with thin heads. Not something that my local hardware store is going to stock. :)

Thank you for the offer!
I may be all set. Just found this picture as well. Pretty much shows #1 is a threaded hole and #2 is just a hole.
Thanks again for your help!
