Wow Mike!  I hope you don't have to sell it.... :sadwavey: :sadwavey:

For a quick sale....$25,000 to $30,000
May take a few weeks....$31,000 to $35,000
Waiting for the right buyer $36,000 plus

It's super clean and has a real cool engine, but at the end of the day it's only a 1973 318 car. Asking $38K as suggested it may take a long time to sell. You would have to find a buyer who understands how much it costs to build a car of this quality....It may be worth that but actually selling it is a different story.
You could try a run on Ebay with a high reserve to see what it gets bid up to....My guess is more like low twenties...

HOWEVER....BS27R1B, is a dealer so he would be more in tune with today's market on these type cars  :2thumbs:
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !

:iagree:   I think a realistic price for a '73, non-matching drivetrain tops out mid $20's. if matching, tops out @ $32-$35k.

No, I don't have to (or necessarily want to) sell but I have given some thought to selling to buy a new 392 purple Challenger. Probably won't happen but I wanted to look into it.

in my opinion the original engine designation of 72-74 cars is not as critical as the 70-71 cars. The largest engine available is a 360, no 440 or Hemi available. Build any of these cars the way you want to. Let's face is there any real value in a restored 318 car? And how valuable can a stock 340 or 360 car be?
You are better off building a car like the one asked about in this thread. This car appears very straight and clean, the paint has excellent depth and the modified power train is an easy up sell to a potential buyer. The cost to duplicate it would be way more than the high thirties and that is how it should be presented.
Yes I have my dealers license but I do not sell cars to put food on the table. I follow the 70-71 E-body market fairly closely and have bought and sold a few in the past. There really are few musclecars that command the respect and demand that E-bodies do.
