Another 73' Cuda
« on: November 06, 2015 - 08:10:26 PM »
Once again need opinions.  My wife is interested in this one she found.  Looks pretty good from the pics but I would like other eyes looking it over.
All original Nos. matching, 2 owner car, original sheet metal, tag was decoded, 1 repaint in 1998, 103,000 original miles, auto, PS, PB, engine and rear rebuilt once, says paint is an 8 out of 10, has 72 bumpers on it, says painted grill and mirrors were an option in 73.

it looks pretty darn clean on the top side, motor sounds healthy. from the looks, it seems to be well taken care of. what does the underside look like?

I Recently looked at pictures of a car that looked really good and well taken care of. When I got there I could not believe it was the same car, it was a POS. Pictures are deceiving. Don't buy unless you can look at yourself or if you don't feel qualified there are services that can go and look at it and give you a report. Just my  :2cents:

Don't have any pictures of the undercarriage yet.
So how much would you pay for this '73?

Another question on this car.  It has a colored keyed grill.....thought that wasn't offered in '73.  Can someone confirm that?

I can't give a fair thought towards the price since we can't see underneath but I do agree with cudakiller 70, I would want to see it in person or have someone I trusted see if for me.

Best of luck. I will leave a thought my dad told me when before I bought my first car, "Just remember, he needs to sell it worst that you need to buy it".

Cheers!

Does it list the vinyl roof on the build or fender tag? mine has the exact same vinyl roof but tag says it should be black on black, even the trim clips are correct, is it possible the dealership fitted it, on my car the vinyl under the back window to trim has red zinc primer on the body, kind of a odd

they look like 73 bumpers without the overriders

Just saw this thread, not sure if it sold, but the 'cuda emblem on tail panel is on wrong side.... should be above the 'by PLYMOUTH' on driver's side...
